I have fond memories of visiting Andrew and his loyal Gibson with Lucy in Provence. Passionate about music and his adventures within the industry to the very end. A gentle, kind man who has now been reunited with his beloved Judith. Seillans will miss you.

Andrew was a very dear friend and we will miss him so much. The many worldwide tributes to him bear witness to the Legend that he was.His contribution to the Music Industry was so significant and his passion for good music and helping talented musicians never waned. He was also an ardent football fan and loyal fan to Hartlepool United. Mad about Cricket setting his alarm to 3 am to listen to the matches.Andrew was so special - a very wonderful person as well as being a genius in his career. He was so kind, thoughtful, generous, funny, modest and loyal. It was such a privilege to know him for a relatively short time and he taught us a lot and took us on a magical musical journey with all his stories and his mamoth Cd collection. He was so bereft when Judith died but Gibson gave him a lifeline. Then two weeks ago Andrew had to say goodbye to his beloved little mate Gibbo. It was a tough couple of years but he never complained. We loved Andrew and will cherish our fond memories of an extraordinary man and dear friend.

I met Andrew in 1976. He was the only person who showed any interest in my band and fifty years later I hope I have repaid that faith . Since we were both neighbours we kept in regular contact. Now he can rejoin his beloved Judith and Gibson.
